Michael Boyd – Managing Director
Michael is a science graduate and spent the early years of his career working in Multinational Pharmaceutical, Electronic & Medical Device Industries, where he held a number of positions in Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Training & Development and Human Resources.
In 1999 Michael identified an opportunity in the marketplace to provide HR on an outsourced basis to SME’s that could not justify having dedicated HR Professionals. Today, Boyd HR employs five Staff in the provision of this service to over forty Client Companies in the North West.
Michael is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD), an Associate Lecture with the National College of Ireland and is past President of the Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is also a member of IBEC and the Small Firms Association.
Michael has over 25 years’ experience in the field of HR and is passionate in the delivery of value-added HR services to Client Companies and making them healthy, high-performing, fully-functioning and sustainable organisations.
